Disappearing Buildings, Ghent 2023

is the outcome of a paper study on inbetween spaces in the city of Ghent, Belgium. Demolished houses leave vacant spaces, often for quite some time, exposing what lays in between. The remains on the facades carry fragments of stories and memories of inhabitants and city planning.

The book is an attempt on collecting the temporality of urban decay, in a modern archeological manner.
